'95 Eagle Talon
Small Front End Conversion

Take I     |     Take II

Here are some before shots of this beast. The car was just painted, all but the front bumper because we planned on replacing it anyways. As you can see, the headlamps are all fogged up, the bumper is all chipped, and basically it's just plain ugly.

Overall, not the prettiest site....

Here are the parts we are going to put on.

· 1999 Mitsubishi Eclipse Front Bumper Cover

· And blacked out projector style front headlamps.....Hott!

So we started to tear down the front of the car.

We finally got the bumper off . . . .

And finally the headlights came out. Those thing were packed in there tighter than a fetus :-P But we yanked 'em out!

We got one of the headligths in. Looks pretty good so far. . . . .

Oooooh, we got them both in . . . . .

In the mean time, I bent over a lil too close to the heater and my whole ass caught on fire. There were flames going up my back! There was definite billowing smoke coming out of my butt.

Sadly, we then realized that we can't get the bumper on because the headlights are in the way. So we took out the headlights and put the bumper on. Tight Fit! We had to stretch the hell out of this thing to make it line up right. After an hour and ahalf of that we decided to take out the foam pice from behind the bumper to make a better fit. So we took the whole thing off, and put it back on w/o the foam. We finally got the bumper to fit much better w/o the foam piece. Now we had to put on the lights. And of course nothing in life can ever be easy. So we had to force these thinkgs to fit into the holes. But the lights are aftermarket products not made by Mitsubishi or Eagle so nothing really lines up. Finally we get things right and we hook up all the wires and we're done.

After Shots - We are all done . . . . for now
